How to Settle PaySense Loan?

Can PaySense do OTS?

OTS stands for One Time Settlement. Most loan apps, NBFCs and lending partners allow OTS loan requests. Every loan lender has their own rules and policies when it comes to settlements. If you really cannot afford to pay back your PaySense loan amount then write a loan settlement letter to lenders. Just because your income has decreased, does not guarantee lenders will settle your loan.

Write OTS Application

Fill out an OTS application form or write an OTS application letter. Make sure you include your PaySense loan account number and the mobile number you provided with your loan. Include the total overdue amount that you owe lenders on your PaySense loan. Clearly describe to lenders why you were unable to pay back your PaySense loan amount.

Attach Hardship Proof

Attach proof that supports your reason for not being able to pay your monthly EMI or full loan repayment amount. Documents like bank account statement or salary slips can act as income proof. If you were fired from your job, include the termination letter from your employer. Medical documents would work if you had sudden medical emergencies. Include your Income tax returns if you are self employed.

Wait for Approval

Wait a few days for PaySense to respond back to your OTS loan request. They might accept your request to settle your loan. Or they might reject your loan settlement request. Or lenders might give you a counter offer on the settlement amount you offered. Your loan type, total loan amount, loan overdue duration, total EMIs paid and overall loan repayment history will determine your final response.

Negotiate Settlement Amount

You can always negotiate how much you will pay lenders to settle your loan. Negotiate late charges, interest recovery charges, penal charges and cheque bounce charges. Negotiate collection expenses and how much time you will need to pay lenders remaining missed EMIs. Try to negotiate a decent settlement amount you would be able to pay.

Pay and Receive Closure Proof

Only once you have received written and email confirmation from your lender can you proceed to pay them. But only pay lenders through official sources like cash, cheque or request a bank transfer. Once you have paid lenders, ask them for proof of transactions. Ask lenders for a loan closure letter or no dues letter and request for CIBIL update for loan closure.

Your Loan Settlement Offer Can Get Rejected

Sadly your loan settlement request letter can be rejected by lenders. Either you offered them too low of an amount. Or lenders did not find your reason reasonable enough. You did not attach the right documents to support your reason. Or your loan might be in too deep in recovery stage and lenders do not want to negotiate with you. Just because your lender company has rejected your offer, does not mean you lost the battle.

You can always write another OTS loan letter to your lenders. But make sure this time you make your offer amount higher than before. Provide lenders better quality documents that enforce your situation clearly. Clearly describe to lenders why you were unable to repay back your loan amount. If lenders decide to issue you a loan recall notice or loan demand notice, reply back to lenders in writing.
